This journey begins in South Africa’s vibrant Mother City, followed by stays at two of the country’s most renowned safari areas—the Timbavati and the Sabi Sands—making it an ideal honeymoon destination.
Your adventure kicks off in Cape Town, with three nights at Cape Grace Hotel. One of the city’s most iconic hotels, it is situated on its own quay at the Waterfront, offering unparalleled luxury and views. Following your Cape Town stay, you’ll travel to the Timbavati for three nights at &Beyond Ngala Tented Camp, a lavish property within a private wildlife-rich reserve. The final part of your journey takes you to the Sabi Sands, where you’ll spend the last few nights at &Beyond Tengile River Lodge.

Days 1–5 CAPE TOWN
Your adventure begins with a flight to Cape Town, where you’ll stay at the Cape Grace Hotel, located on the prestigious V&A Waterfront. Known as one of Cape Town’s most iconic properties, Cape Grace combines sophisticated luxury with exceptional service. The hotel’s lounge areas are plush and inviting, and the Signal Restaurant offers an exquisite dining experience, serving innovative cuisine inspired by local flavors.
For those who appreciate fine drinks, there’s a whisky and wine bar and an elegant library where you can indulge in afternoon tea. The hotel also features a fitness studio and a spa, offering relaxation and wellness during your stay.

Days 5–8 TIMBAVATI
On the fifth day of your honeymoon, you’ll fly to the Greater Kruger region to begin your stay at &Beyond’s Ngala Tented Camp, where you’ll spend three nights in this idyllic wilderness setting. Nestled along the dry Timbavati River, the camp offers stunning views of the surrounding bush, with the dining area, communal lounge, and sparkling swimming pool all overlooking the vast, wildlife-rich Timbavati.
The camp exudes both cosiness and style, offering a relaxed yet luxurious atmosphere. The property features a spa for rejuvenation, and for those wanting a more active experience, a ‘gym in a basket’ is available upon request.
Your time at Ngala will revolve around morning and afternoon/evening game drives and walking safaris, where you’ll have the opportunity to spot Africa’s Big Five. In addition to these, Ngala also offers unique experiences such as tracking, rhino notching, and photographic safaris in the Ngala Reserve, one of the most abundant wildlife areas in the region.
Days 8–11 SABI SANDS
The final leg of your honeymoon brings you to &Beyond Tengile River Lodge, located in the exclusive Sabi Sands reserve. Set on the curve of the Sand River, this luxurious property offers breathtaking river views from every angle. The enormous, secluded suites each feature a private deck, a lap pool, and a sunken outdoor lounge, ensuring ultimate relaxation and privacy.
The communal spaces include a sumptuous lounge, a bar and dining area, a safari shop, and a gym. For relaxation, there is a plunge pool and a massage sala to unwind after your game drives.
Activities at Tengile are centered around early morning and evening game drives, interpretive bush walks, bird watching, and photographic safaris, with the opportunity to participate in specialist astrophotography lessons. You can also enjoy cultural tours to learn about the local traditions.
