Detailed Itinerary Of 8 Days Masai Mara, Amboseli And Diani Beach 

Day 1: Arrival in Nairobi 

Upon arrival in Kenya’s Nairobi City at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, you will meet our representative and transfer you to your hotel in Nairobi. Check-in and spend the rest of day at leisure relaxing or visit some of the amazing sites in Nairobi City such as The Giraffe Manor, Elephant Center, Kiambethu Tea Farm, Karen Blixen Museum among others. 

Accommodation: Nairobi Serena Hotel 

Meal plan: Half Board

Day 2: transfer to Masai Mara National Reserve 

After breakfast at the hotel, you will be picked up by your guide and embark on a journey to Masai Mara with a stopover at the rift valley view point where you will enjoy spectacular views of the escarpments and in Narok where you will buy some beautiful art pieces and interact with the local Masai people. 

Masai Mara National Reserve is one of the greatest wildlife destinations in Africa, the reserve is home to a variety of wildlife including lions, leopards, cape buffaloes, rhinos, elephants, leopards, warthogs, zebras, gazelles, elands, giraffes among others. if you visit the reserve in time for the Great Wildebeest Migration, you will see large herds of wildebeests filling the plains of Masai Mara together with zebras and gazelles. 

Arrive in time for lunch after checking into your lodge and relax for a short while, in the afternoon you will head to the plains of Masai Mara for a game drive in search for several animals calling the reserve home such as lions, leopards, wildebeests, gazelles, zebras, giraffes among others. return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 3: Full Day – Masai Mara National Reserve  

Spend the whole day in the plains of Masai Mara exploring on morning and afternoon game drives, you will have ample time to explore the almost every corner of the reserve and spot a variety of wildlife. 

After breakfast, you will head to the reserve for a full day game drive, as you drive through various areas of the reserve look out for the Big Five – lions, leopards, buffaloes, elephants and rhinos. You will also see many other animals including hyenas, zebras, giraffes, cheetahs and over 400 bird species. 

You will enjoy lunch at the picnic site in the reserve and continue exploring the reserve till sunset, return to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay. 

Optional Activity: Hot Air Balloon – offering you a different perspective of exploring the endless plains of Masai Mara National Reserve and have an aerial view of the plains and animals.

Day 4: transfer Amboseli National Park  

After breakfast, you will checkout of your lodge, bid Masai Mara farewell and head to Amboseli National Park with lunch in Nairobi city. 

Amboseli National park is a scenic national park situated on the foothills of Mount Kilimanjaro – the tallest mountain in Africa and its snow- capped summit can be seen from Amboseli, the park is famed for hosting a huge herds of elephants. 

You will have lunch along the way and when you arrive in the park, you will have en-route game drive as you head to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 5: Full Day –Amboseli National Park

Enjoy early breakfast and head to the park for a full day game drive, you will be welcomed by the magnificent backdrop of Mount Kilimanjaro and its snow-capped summit, during the game rive you will enjoy excellent big game sightings. Some of the animals to lookout for include elephants, wildebeests, cape buffaloes, gazelles, lions, antelopes among others. you will also see many birds including grey crowned crane, black bellied bustards, herons, African Jacana among others. 

You will enjoy lunch either at the lodge or at the picnic site and continue exploring the park. after the sunset you will return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 6 – 7: Diani Beach

After breakfast, you will transfer to Diani Beach in Mombasa, you will spend these two days of your safari relaxing at the beach side of the White Indian Ocean. There are a number of activities you can do including 

• Visiting the Mombasa Marine National Park for diving with the dolphins, boat cruise in a transparent boat where you will see the marine creatures such as dolphins, sea turtles and whale sharks among others. 
• Snorkeling and diving 
• Guided tours 
• Dhow and sailing tours 
• Spa treatments at the resort

Day 8: Departure

After a leisurely breakfast, you will be transferred to Ukunda Airport for your domestic flight to Wilson Airport. Upon landing you will be picked up by our driver-guide and be transferred to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for your international flight back home.
