Your adventure begins in Entebbe, Uganda’s peaceful lakeside town. After arrival at the international airport, you’ll be warmly welcomed and transferred to your hotel. Depending on your arrival time, you can visit the Uganda Wildlife Education Centre, explore the Entebbe Botanical Gardens, or take a sunset cruise on Lake Victoria. Relax and prepare for the thrilling days ahead. Overnight in Entebbe.

Day 2: Fly to Kihihi – Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest

After an early breakfast, board a scenic domestic flight to Kihihi in southwestern Uganda. You’ll then enjoy a drive through terraced hills and lush countryside to your forest lodge near Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. Check in and relax with views of the forest canopy, home to one of the world’s largest populations of mountain gorillas. In the evening, enjoy a campfire dinner and local storytelling. Overnight in Bwindi.

Day 3: Gorilla Trekking – An Hour with the Giants

Today is the highlight of your Ugandan journey. After an early breakfast, attend a briefing at the park headquarters before beginning your guided gorilla trek. Hike through dense jungle and rugged terrain in search of a habituated gorilla family. Once located, spend an awe-inspiring hour watching their natural behavior—feeding, playing, and bonding. After the trek, return to your lodge for lunch and rest. In the evening, enjoy a community walk or spa treatment. Overnight in Bwindi.

Day 4: Batwa Cultural Experience – Return to Entebbe

This morning, delve into the history of the Batwa pygmies—the original forest dwellers. Learn their traditional hunting and gathering techniques, hear ancestral songs, and understand their connection to the forest. After the experience, transfer to Kihihi airstrip for your flight back to Entebbe. Overnight in Entebbe with time to explore local markets or enjoy a lakeside dinner.

Day 5: Fly to Nairobi, Kenya – Into the Safari Capital

Today, you’ll transfer to Entebbe Airport for your flight to Nairobi, the vibrant capital of Kenya. Upon arrival, your guide will welcome you and transfer you to your city hotel. Depending on arrival time, you may visit the Giraffe Centre, Karen Blixen Museum, or Nairobi National Park. In the evening, enjoy a taste of Kenyan cuisine at a popular local restaurant. Overnight in Nairobi.

Day 6: Fly to Masai Mara – Afternoon Game Drive

After breakfast, catch a scheduled flight to the iconic Maasai Mara National Reserve. As your plane descends, marvel at aerial views of acacia-dotted plains and winding rivers. Upon landing, your guide will drive you to your safari camp or lodge, with wildlife sightings already likely en route. After lunch and some relaxation, head out for your first afternoon game drive. Expect sightings of elephants, lions, and herds of wildebeest. Overnight in Maasai Mara.

Days 7–8: Full-Day Game Drives – Big Five & Migration Marvels

Spend two exhilarating days exploring the Maasai Mara. You’ll venture deep into the reserve in search of the Big Five—lion, elephant, rhino, leopard, and buffalo—and marvel at the sheer abundance of wildlife. If your visit coincides with the Great Migration, you may witness dramatic river crossings or predator-prey encounters. Enjoy picnic lunches in the wild, sundowners on the plains, and optional cultural visits to a Maasai village. Hot air balloon safaris can also be arranged for a bird’s eye view of the reserve. Overnight in Maasai Mara.

Day 9: Return to Nairobi – Optional Excursions

After a morning game drive, fly back to Nairobi and check into your hotel. Depending on your interests and energy, you can enjoy a city tour, shop for handmade crafts, or visit conservation centers. Celebrate your safari with a farewell dinner at a rooftop restaurant or a garden lounge with views of Nairobi’s skyline. Overnight in Nairobi.
