Day-by-Day Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival in Entebbe – Welcome to Uganda the Pearl of Africa
Your adventure begins in Entebbe, Uganda’s peaceful lakeside town. After arrival at the international airport, you’ll be warmly welcomed and transferred to your hotel. Depending on your arrival time, you can visit the Uganda Wildlife Education Centre, explore the Entebbe Botanical Gardens, or take a sunset cruise on Lake Victoria. Day 2: Fly to Kihihi – Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest
After an early breakfast, board a scenic domestic flight to Kihihi in southwestern Uganda. You’ll then enjoy a drive through terraced hills and lush countryside to your forest lodge near Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. Check in and relax with views of the forest canopy, home to one of the world’s largest populations of mountain gorillas. In the evening, enjoy a campfire dinner and local storytelling. Day 3: Gorilla Trekking – An Hour with the Giants
Today is the highlight of your Ugandan journey. After an early breakfast, attend a briefing at the park headquarters before beginning your guided gorilla trek. Hike through dense jungle and rugged terrain in search of a habituated gorilla family. Once located, spend an awe-inspiring hour watching their natural behavior—feeding, playing, and bonding. Day 4: Batwa Cultural Experience – Return to Entebbe
This morning, delve into the history of the Batwa pygmies—the original forest dwellers. Day 6: Fly to Masai Mara – Afternoon Game Drive
