Day 1-4: Welcome to Cape Town | 4 Nights

Your adventure begins upon arrival at Cape Town International Airport, followed by a short transfer to Welgelegen House. This charming, intimate retreat is nestled in the vibrant Kloof Street area, a cosmopolitan hub filled with restaurants, boutiques, galleries, and bars just a short stroll away.

Day 5-6: The Zambezi Magic |2 Nights

Bid farewell to Cape Town as you fly to Johannesburg’s OR Tambo International Airport, followed by a short 2-hour flight to Livingstone, Zambia. Here, Chundukwa River Lodge, set on the banks of the iconic Zambezi River, will be your home for the next two nights.

Day 11-12: Okavango Delta| 2 Nights

After a final morning in the Makgadikgadi, fly to Camp Moremi in the Okavango Delta. As your flight soars over Botswana’s wilderness, the vast, shimmering wetland comes into view—a grand mosaic of grasslands, tree islands, channels, and lagoons. From above, you can spot herds of elephants, buffalo, giraffes, hippos, and even clusters of crocodiles lounging in the water. Upon landing, your guide meets you and takes you on a game drive to the camp, where the diverse habitats support an astonishing variety of wildlife.

Camp Moremi’s location is hard to beat, nestled within one of the Moremi Game Reserve’s best game-viewing areas. Built under towering African ebony trees and overlooking a serene lagoon, the setting is undeniably romantic. After settling into your suite and taking in the view of the still water, you’ll prepare for a sunset adventure in the wild following a delicious high tea.

The golden grasslands of Moremi set the stage as you encounter herds of antelope grazing in the open, while elephants make their majestic way through the forested tree islands and seasonal water channels. The floodplains are home to red lechwe, yawning hippos, and sunbathing crocodiles, lounging on the sandy riverbanks. The air is alive with birdsong, flashes of brilliant colour from bee-eaters and hornbills, and the haunting cry of the African fish eagle reminding you that you are in its domain.

In addition to thrilling game drives filled with photographic opportunities, you can also explore the Okavango Delta by motorboat or mokoro. The silvery waters part to reveal fields of water lilies and dense papyrus beds that shelter a variety of wildlife, from jewel-like kingfishers and reed frogs to the imposing goliath herons.

Day 13: Farewell to Africa

After a final night in Moremi, your epic African adventure comes to a close, leaving you with a sense of calm and contentment, far from the stresses of everyday life. A short light aircraft flight takes you over the delta’s waterways, returning you to Maun. As you board your flight to Johannesburg, memories of your trip begin to flood back: the vibrant culture and exquisite cuisine of Cape Town, the thrilling wildlife encounters in Botswana, and the romantic serenity of your island retreat on the Zambezi River.
