Serengeti wildebeest migration
Serengeti national park in northern Tanzania is known for the great wildebeest migration which takes place annually. The wildebeest migration is considered the largest movement of wildlife in the world. This migration takes place in Tanzania and Kenya where wildebeests can be seen during safaris at certain months of the year. Over 2 million wildebeests as well as zebras and gazelles can be seen during the wildebeest migration in Serengeti national park as they roam around the savannah plains in search of water and green pastures.
