From Cape Town, journey to Kruger National Park for a Big 5 safari experience. This world-renowned park is known for its incredible game-viewing opportunities. Your expert guides will help you track the famous Big 5—lions, leopards, elephants, rhinos, and buffalo—through this vast and captivating wilderness.
Your final stop is Victoria Falls in Zimbabwe, where your lodge is conveniently located within walking distance of the iconic Falls. Day 1-4: Explore Cape Town at your own Pace | 4 Nights
Your journey begins when you arrive at Cape Town International Airport and collect your rental car. After a scenic drive into the city, you’ll settle into Welgelegen House, a charming guesthouse in the leafy Gardens neighborhood, nestled at the foot of Table Mountain. Here, you’ll enjoy a four-night stay on a bed-and-breakfast basis, in a stylish yet comfortable setting. The guesthouse is ideally located, just a short drive away from local restaurants, boutiques, and art galleries, offering a great starting point to explore Cape Town at your own pace.
Welgelegen House combines Victorian-era architecture with modern, Afro-chic interiors, reflecting South Africa’s rich cultural diversity. During your stay, you’ll have easy access to Cape Town’s top attractions:

Day 5-7: A Safari in the Famous Kruger National Park| 3 Nights
Say goodbye to Cape Town and drive to the airport for your flight to Hoedspruit, the gateway to Kruger National Park. From there, a shared transfer will take you to Kapama Private Game Reserve, where you’ll enjoy three nights in a traditional tented suite at Kapama Buffalo Camp, all-inclusive. Here, you’ll track the Big 5 on open 4×4 vehicles and get up close with habituated elephants.

With just 10 tented suites, the camp offers personalized service. Your suite, overlooking the riverbed, comes fully serviced with a king-sized bed, a spacious deck, and an en-suite bathroom featuring both a bathtub and shower. The lodge also boasts a state-of-the-art spa, gym, and lap pool. For extra adventure, consider hot-air ballooning or a night under the stars in a romantic starbed.
Day 8: A Night in Johannesburg
After a shared transfer back to Hoedspruit, catch your flight to OR Tambo International Airport. Upon arrival in Johannesburg, a hotel shuttle will take you to D’Oreale Grande, conveniently located near the airport within the renowned Emperors Palace – Johannesburg’s top entertainment and hotel hub. Here, you can enjoy a live show, unwind at the spa, try your luck at the gaming tables, or simply relax with dinner and a movie.
Day 9-11: Witness Victoria Falls
In the morning, you’ll be transferred to OR Tambo International Airport for your scheduled flight to Victoria Falls Airport in Zimbabwe. Upon arrival, you’ll be met and transferred to Ilala Lodge, just minutes away from the awe-inspiring Victoria Falls. From the lodge, you can see the mist rising above the horizon, and it’s only a short walk to the entrance of this natural wonder.
Ilala Lodge offers a comfortable, safari-style experience with a spacious open-air restaurant and lush lawns. With the national park bordering the property, wildlife is often seen grazing nearby. There’s plenty to explore around Victoria Falls and the Zambezi River, from boat cruises and micro lighting to bungee jumping, white-water rafting, and helicopter rides.
