Next, you’ll head by road to Musekese Camp, a place with a rich history of conservation, founded by Phil Jeffery and Tyrone McKeith in one of Zambia’s most remote corners of Kafue National Park. Musekese is rustic, off the beaten track, and located in a prime game-viewing area. You won’t find a camp with more character or run with greater passion than this one. For an adventure safari, a stay at Musekese is an absolute must!
The camp overlooks a lagoon that attracts a variety of wildlife. Accommodation consists of just four traditional chalets, each featuring comfortable beds and charming local furnishings. Every chalet has en-suite facilities, including a flush toilet, washbasin, and bucket shower.
Activities at Musekese include morning and evening game drives, walking safaris, boating safaris, viewing from the camp’s hides, and special birding walks. Kafue is teeming with wildlife, from lions and leopards to cheetahs, elephants, buffalo, and various antelopes.
