Visiting the Equator in Uganda : The equator passes through a number of countries and Uganda is one of them. At the equator, the world is divided into the Northern and Southern hemisphere. The best and well known equator monument in Uganda can be explored at Kayabwe in Mpigi district a few kilometers away from Kampala, along Kampala – Masaka highway.
