Who is This Safari For?
This adventure is ideal for couples but can be customized for families or groups. Every itinerary is tailor-made to match your preferences, from accommodation options to the number of days. Let us design your perfect Namibian journey!
Days 1–2 WINDHOEK
Your adventure begins with an overnight stay in Windhoek, Namibia’s charming capital nestled in the scenic Central Highlands. Accommodation is at the elegant Olive Grove Guesthouse, located in the upscale Klein Windhoek neighborhood, just five minutes from the Central Business District and the city’s top dining spots.
The guesthouse offers five standard rooms, five luxury rooms, and an executive suite, all styled with a blend of modern design and Moroccan-inspired accents. For added comfort, we recommend the spacious luxury rooms or the suite, which feature private balconies and exclusive dining areas.
Windhoek itself is a picturesque city surrounded by rolling hills, offering a relaxed, cosmopolitan vibe—perfect for starting your journey through Namibia.
Days 2–4 SOSSUSVLEI
Flying southwest from Windhoek, marvel at the breathtaking aerial views of the Naukluft Mountains and the vast, rolling dunes of the Namib Desert before landing on the 27,000-hectare Kulala Wilderness Reserve. Your destination, Wilderness Kulala Desert Lodge, is perfectly situated within the reserve, featuring a private airstrip and exclusive access to the dune fields, ensuring seamless excursions without delays at the main gate.
The lodge boasts 23 spacious canvas-and-thatch chalets, each perched on a raised wooden deck to maximize the panoramic views. For a truly magical experience, every chalet is equipped with a ‘sky bed’ on its roof, allowing guests to sleep under the dazzling night sky.
This region’s beauty is unparalleled, with towering orange dunes stretching endlessly beneath a vivid blue sky—a stunning and serene desert landscape like no other.
Days 4–7 DAMARALAND
Leaving the Namib behind and heading east, your journey takes you over the ancient wilderness of Damaraland. Wilderness Desert Rhino Camp is nestled in a vast valley among the rugged hills of the Palmwag Concession. The camp features eight spacious Meru-style safari tents, each offering sweeping views of the surrounding plains and the distant Etendeka Mountains.
This area is teeming with wildlife, and the Palmwag Concession is home to Africa’s largest population of free-roaming black rhinos. The camp partners with the Save the Rhino Trust (SRT) to support the conservation and monitoring of these remarkable creatures. During your stay, you’ll have the opportunity to observe these iconic animals up close while learning about the vital conservation efforts taking place in the region.
Days 7–10 ETOSHA NATIONAL PARK
On Day 7, you’ll fly to the Ongava Game Reserve, located along the southern boundary of Etosha National Park. Spanning 30,000 hectares, Ongava is a wildlife haven, offering a truly unforgettable safari experience. Ongava Lodge features 14 luxurious stone-and-thatch chalets, each perched on a small kopje with sweeping views of an active, floodlit waterhole.
