4 Days Bwindi Gorilla Trekking Tour
4 days Bwindi Gorilla Trekking Tour will take place in Bwindi national park where you will take part in gorilla trekking and also visit the Batwa community. During the Bwindi Gorilla Trekking Tour, you will also have a stop at the equator and also enjoy getting to know about the Ankole culture as you visit the Igongo cultural center.
Detailed itinerary: Bwindi Gorilla Trekking Tour
Day 1; arrival
Your guide will pick you up from the airport and welcome you for the safari. After a short briefing, you will be driven to the hotel for check in and to spend your night in Entebbe.Day 2; drive to Bwindi national park
After having breakfast early at the hotel in Entebbe, you will start your journey to Bwindi national park in the south western part of Uganda. During the drive to Bwindi, you will have a stop at the equator where you will enjoy taking photos and seeing the local arts and crafts. You will also make a stop for lunch in Mbarara town before continuing the journey to Bwindi national park where you will check in at the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.Day 3; gorilla trekking and batwa cultural tour
After having an early breakfast at the lodge your guide will drive you to the park headquarters in Bwindi national park for briefing on gorilla trekking. After briefing, you will be divided into groups of 8 and allocated rangers and start the trek into the Bwindi impenetrable forest to being the search for the gorillas following different trails and when you find the gorillas, you will spend 1 hour with them. After the gorilla trekking in Bwindi national park, you will return to the park headquarters to receive your certificates. You will also participate in an optional batwa cultural tour and interact with the locals, get to know more about their culture, watch and participate in traditional dances and later your guide will drive you to the lodge.
