Days 1–4 THE LINYANTI

Your ultra-luxurious Botswana safari begins with a flight to the Linyanti, where you’ll spend three nights at Great Plains’ Zarafa Camp. Stay in one of their expansive guest suites, featuring handcrafted, reclaimed wood furniture in a classic colonial style.

Indulge in hours of relaxation in the copper bathtubs, or enjoy the private plunge pool on your suite’s deck, overlooking a permanent lagoon. This water source attracts frequent wildlife visitors, including elephants and hippos. Zarafa is nestled within the exclusive Selinda Reserve, a private area of the Linyanti, characterized by vast savannahs dotted with palm tree islands.

The open terrain offers fantastic game viewing during daily drives, where you’ll have the chance to spot four of the Big Five (lion, leopard, elephant, and buffalo), smaller predators, and abundant plains game. Early morning guided walks are available on request, led by an expert guide. Depending on the season, you can also take a scenic lagoon cruise.

Days 4-7 OKAVANGO DELTA

After your stay in the Linyanti, you’ll head to the renowned Okavango Delta for three nights at Wilderness Vumbura Plains. Located in the northern Delta, this camp sits within the private Vumbura Concession. The camp is split into two sections—North Camp and South Camp—each with seven elevated guest tents connected by wooden walkways.

Regardless of which camp you stay in, your suite will feature a large veranda, a spacious king bedroom with an en-suite bathroom, an outdoor shower, a plunge pool, a private dining area, and stunning views. Activities include game drives, walking safaris, boating, mokoro rides, hot air ballooning, and helicopter trips.

The wildlife in the Vumbura Concession is as impressive as the Linyanti, home to four of the Big Five, various predators and herbivores, and an incredible variety of birds.

Days 7–10 MOREMI GAME RESERVE

The final part of your journey takes you to Wilderness Mombo, often hailed as the finest safari camp in Africa—a real favorite at YZ! After moving from one Wilderness Delta property to another, you’ll enjoy a three-night stay on Chief’s Island in the heart of the Okavango Delta’s Moremi Game Reserve.

Chief’s Island is teeming with wildlife, including four of the Big Five, abundant predators, and large herds of elephants and buffalo. At Mombo, activities revolve around incredible wildlife and birdlife, with the highlight being expertly guided game drives.
