Game Safari in Mugie Conservancy : Mugie Conservancy is a private wildlife sanctuary sited on a 46000–50000-acre land, laying in the northwest corner of the Laikipia plateau in Kenya. It borders Samburu National reserve and Baringo counties creating a very important ecological corridor between the Samburu Lands, Laikipea Plateau and Mathews Range. It was founded in 1999 by the Hahn Family to conserve and preserve the African wildlife.
The sanctuary is home to over 70 mammals like lions, leopards, Elephants, cheetahs, Buffaloes, Grevy’s Zebra, Beisa Oryx, Jackson’s hartebeest with over 350 bird species which include Yellow-billed Stork, Martial Eagle, Helmeted Guinea Fowl, Nubian woodpeckers, and Meyer’s parrots, African Scops Owl, Verreaux’s Eagle-Owl.
