Days 1–5 LOWER ZAMBEZI NATIONAL PARK

9 Nights Victoria Falls and South Luangwa | SAFARI FRANK
The safari begins with four nights at Chiawa, a family-owned and operated gem, and one of Zambia’s top luxury safari camps. Here, every detail is of the highest standard, from exceptional guiding and a strong conservation ethos to fine dining and soft cotton bedsheets. The main area is a stunning two-tier wooden structure with sweeping views over the river. Each of the spacious 100-square-metre tents features a canvas roof and walls, a super-king bed, a cozy lounge area, and a luxurious bathroom complete with a roll-top bath and twin washbasins. The tents offer spectacular views of the Zambezi River and its rich wildlife, including elephants, lions, leopards, hippos, and crocodiles. It’s the perfect base for exploring the area through day and night game drives, walking safaris, and river excursions.

Days 5–9 KAFUE NATIONAL PARK

On Day 5, you’ll fly to Kafue National Park for the second part of your safari. Wilderness Shumba offers an exceptional location, with panoramic views of the seasonal floodplains in every direction. Elevated above the ground, the camp is connected by wooden walkways, featuring grass roofs and expansive decks. The main area includes a swimming pool, lounge, dining and bar areas, and an outdoor sunken lounge with a star deck, perfect for stargazing into the night. Wilderness Shumba has just six luxury suites, all raised on wooden platforms. Designed to immerse you in the wilderness, each suite offers scenic views from the bed, seating areas, and even the outdoor showers. The primary focus at Wilderness Shumba is game driving, though boating safaris are available at the start of the season.
