Several changes have been made to the different safari activities and the park entrance fees and these are not a short-term fix as they will remain in effect till 30th June 2026. During this period, there will be a few changes, evaluations, and adjustments. All tourists who have booked for the safari before 1st July 2024 will not be affected in any way and can still use the old tariff charges. For all tourists who book after 30th June 2024 or make reschedules, the new tariffs will apply to them.
The Uganda Wildlife Authority together with other stakeholders came up with the adjustment of the conservation tariffs and this is a step towards improving and ensuring the sustainability of the tourism sector and the wildlife. By embracing the new tariffs that are effective 1st July 2024, you are not only conserving the wildlife but also ensuring that you have a good time when you visit the different safari destinations in the country.
