Day by Day 4 Days Bwindi Gorilla Trekking Itinerary
Day 1; arrival for the 4 Days Bwindi Gorilla Trekking Tour
Your guide will pick you up from the airport and welcome you for the safari. After a short briefing, you will be driven to the hotel for check in and to spend your night in Entebbe.
Day 2; drive to Bwindi national park
The day begins with breakfast early at the hotel in Entebbe. Later embark on your journey to Bwindi national park in the south western part of Uganda. During the drive to Bwindi, you will have a stop at the equator where you will enjoy taking photos and seeing the local arts and crafts.
You will also make a stop for lunch in Mbarara town before continuing the journey to Bwindi national park. On arrival, you will check in at the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 3; gorilla trekking and Batwa cultural tour
Today begins with an early breakfast at the lodge. Then your guide will drive you to the park headquarters in Bwindi national park for briefing on gorilla trekking. After briefing, you will be divided into groups of 8 and allocated rangers. When all this is done, you start the trek into the Bwindi impenetrable forest to being the search for the gorillas following different trails and when you find the gorillas, you will spend 1 hour with them.
When you are done with the gorilla trekking in Bwindi national park, you will return to the park headquarters to receive your certificates. You will also participate in an optional Batwa cultural tour and interact with the locals, get to know more about their culture, watch and participate in traditional dances and later your guide will drive you to the lodge.
Day 4; drive to Kampala
Your breakfast will be served early at the lodge and your guide will drive you from Bwindi national park back to Kampala. Along the way, you will have a stop in Mbarara to visit the Igongo cultural center where you will learn about the Ankole culture and their practices. You will also have lunch in Mbarara town before returning to Kampala where your guide will drop you off which will bring the tour to an end.
