Detailed itinerary

Day 1: Kampala/Entebbe to Murchison falls National Park via Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary

After breakfast, your Jewel Safaris professional safari driver guide will brief you before departing for Murchison Falls National Park. First, stop at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary for an exciting 2-hour rhino tracking experience. Following lunch, continue to the park where you’ll visit the thunderous top of Murchison Falls. Finally, check into your lodge for dinner and overnight amidst wilderness sounds.

Day 2: Murchison Falls National Park

Begin early with a game drive in the northern sector, spotting giraffes, elephants, lions, and colorful birds. Afterwards, return for lunch and prepare for an afternoon boat cruise along the Nile. Marvel at hippos, crocodiles, and aquatic birds before returning to your lodge at sunset.

Day 3: Murchison to Kibale National Park

Today features a scenic drive through the Albertine Rift Valley with Lake Albert views. After lunch in Hoima, proceed to Kibale Forest. If time permits, enjoy an optional Bigodi Swamp walk to observe village life and local crafts before settling at your lodge.

Day 4: Kibale to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park

Today after breakfast, you will transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park, a UNESCO world heritage site and home to the famous mountain gorillas making it the best place in Uganda for tracking these gentle giants. Later on, you can relax, have dinner and sleep in.

Day 5: Bwindi gorilla trekking

The highlight of your 6 Days Uganda Tour! After an early breakfast, trek through dense forest to find a mountain gorilla habituation. Spend a magical hour observing them before hiking back. Celebrate your achievement with dinner and stories at the lodge.

Day 6: Bwindi to Kampala

Enjoy breakfast and start your journey to Kampala with an enroute lunch stopover. Optional drop off at your hotel or airport for your flight.
