Detailed itinerary

Day 1: Kampala to Queen Elizabeth National Park

You will start the journey of the 3 Days Queen Elizabeth National Park Safari to the Southwest, which journey takes about 8 hours of driving. Arrival in the park will be in the evening and you will drive through the park to the lodge as you view different animals such as elephants, Uganda kobs, waterbucks, and many others. Check-in at the lodge for evening relaxation, dinner and overnight.

Accommodation: Mweya Safari Lodge (Luxury), Enganzi Game Lodge (Midrange) & Tembo Safari Lodge (Budget)

Day 2: Queen Elizabeth National Park

You will have breakfast and head out for a game drive in the Kasenyi plains exposing you to species like African elephants, African Cape buffaloes, Uganda kobs, leopards, lions, and the park also boasts a record of over 600 bird species. After this experience and additionally seeing the big 5, you will drive back to the lodge for hot lunch and shortly take a boat cruise on the Kazinga channel.

The Kazinga channel is a 42km stretch, connecting Lake George and Lake Edward with rewarding big herds of buffaloes, schools of hippos, Nile crocodiles, and different bird species like the rare African skimmers and Lesser Flamingos. After the cruise, you can opt for a sundowner at one of the crater lakes or return to the lodge for relaxation and overnight.

Day 3: Queen Elizabeth National Park to Kampala

Early breakfast at the lodge before setoff for Kampala with a stopover for lunch en route. Optional drop off at your hotel or at the airport for your flight.
