The pearl of Africa Tourism Expo (POATE 2020)

One of the most anticipated and must-attend tourism events is the Pearl of Africa Tourism Expo. It takes place every year in Uganda “the Pearl of Africa.” The Pearl of Africa tourism expo is a must-attend tourism event. POATE2020 is ready! POATE 2020 is an awesome event, giving you a brief crosscut to what Uganda, East Africa, and Africa as a whole have to offer to their clients. The Pearl of Africa Tourism Expo brings together all the national, regional, and international tourism stakeholders to showcase what the different countries have to show their tourists. POATE2020 is scheduled for early February from 04-06/02/2020 in the Munyonyo suburb of Kampala.

Expected to attend the POATE2020 are travel agents, tour operators, driver guides, hotel owners, Destination Managing Companies (DMC’s), and several other tourism stakeholders. Amongst many to see, there will be wildlife or mini zoo with animals like lions, ostrich, and others at the expo. There will be lots of goods and services including what to eat and drink offered on the spot at the expo.

The Pearl of Africa Tourism Expo (POATE2020) is organized by Uganda Tourism Board (UTB) in conjunction with the Ministry of Tourism, Wildlife and Antiquities, Uganda Wildlife Authority (UWA), the private sector like Association of Uganda Tour Operators (AUTO), Uganda Hotel Owner’s Association (UHOA) and several others. Do a safari before and after the POATE2020. Select your safari destination to quench your travel thirst in Uganda. Go to the real home of wildlife that is displayed at the mini zoo on the Expo grounds. There are several events that happen besides POATE2020 but this is the most rated and must-attend. Uganda hosts several other events and these include The Rolex Festival, Blankets and Wines, and Twins Festival. Uganda truly has responded to the Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Events (MICE) so wildly.
