7 Days Murchison And Kidepo Luxury Safari
7 Days Murchison and Kidepo Luxury Safari safari will take place in some of the famous safari destinations of Uganda including Murchison falls national park where you will engage in game drives and a boat ride to the bottom of the falls and during the safari you will also visit Kidepo valley national park for a wildlife safari and a cultural tour with the Karamojong people. After the tour you will fly to Entebbe.
Detailed itinerary: Murchison And Kidepo Safari
Day 1; arrival
Your guide will pick you up from Entebbe airport on arrival and welcome you for your safari to Uganda. You will be driven to the hotel in Entebbe where you will relax and also spend the night. Depending on your time of arrival some of the activities to take part in around Entebbe include visiting the botanical gardens, the zoo, the reptile village, Mabamba swamp, Ngamba island, taking boat rides on Lake Victoria and so much more.Day 2; flight to Kidepo and game drive
After breakfast at the hotel in Entebbe, you will be driven to Entebbe airport for your flight to Kidepo national park. On arrival at the airstrip in Kidepo national park, your guide will pick you up and drive you to the hotel for check in. You will also engage in a game drive in Kidepo national park in search of wildlife species such as lions, leopards, elephants, buffalos, waterbucks, cheetahs, giraffes, zebras, impalas and many others. After the game drive you will return to the lodge to enjoy watching the sunset and prepare to have your dinner and overnight stay.
Day 3; full day game drives
You will have a full day to engage in wildlife viewing in Kidepo national park and explore the wilderness in the morning and also in the afternoon and you will search for wildlife species such as elephants, buffalos, zebras, oribi, elands, hartebeests, giraffes, jackals and also predators like lions which can be seen in the savannah plains and also on the rock outcrops. You will also look out for leopards, cheetahs as you drive around Kidepo national park.Day 4; Karamojong cultural tour
Your breakfast will be served at the hotel as you prepare for a cultural encounter with the Karamojong. You will visit the Karamojong village during this cultural tour and interact with the locals, participate in traditional dances with the locals in their colorful attire and jewelry and also experience the nomad lifestyle of the locals, visit the kraal and earn a lot about how the Karamojong take care of their livestock. After the Karamojong cultural tour, you will return to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay.Day 5; drive to Murchison falls national park
After having breakfast at the hotel in Kidepo national park, you will be driven to Murchison falls national park with a stop in Gulu town where you will interact with the Acholi people who make one of the best peanut butter in Uganda which is called Odi. From Gulu town, you will proceed to the Murchison falls national park and your guide will drive you to the lodge as you spot different wildlife species in the savannah along the way to the lodge where you will have dinner and overnight stay.
