You’ll enjoy both morning and afternoon game drives, tracking lion prides, elephants, cheetahs, and possibly witnessing a river crossing if the migration is underway. A highlight today is a visit to a local Maasai village, where you’ll learn about traditional customs, dances, and lifestyle. For an extra thrill, opt for a hot air balloon safari at sunrise (advance booking required). Return to your lodge or camp for dinner and overnight.

Day 3: Maasai Mara to Serengeti via Isebania Border

After an early breakfast, embark on a full-day scenic drive across the Kenya-Tanzania border via the Isebania crossing. Once in Tanzania, your new driver-guide will take you into the northern Serengeti, where you’ll enjoy a short afternoon game drive en route to your camp or lodge. Your experienced guide will help track movements and explain the ecosystem’s dynamics. Break for a picnic lunch in the bush and continue your drive into various habitats. Return to camp for sundowners and dinner under the stars. Overnight in Serengeti.

Day 5: Serengeti to Ngorongoro Crater Rim – Optional Olduvai Visit

After breakfast, enjoy a final morning game drive in Serengeti as you make your way southeast toward Ngorongoro Conservation Area. En route, you may choose to visit Olduvai Gorge, an important archaeological site often referred to as the “Cradle of Mankind” (optional). Arrive at your lodge situated on the rim of the Ngorongoro Crater. The views from here are breathtaking, and you’ll enjoy a peaceful evening in preparation for tomorrow’s descent into the crater. Day 6: Ngorongoro Crater Tour – Transfer to Arusha / Departure

Today you’ll descend into the Ngorongoro Crater, a unique wildlife sanctuary with one of the highest concentrations of animals in Africa. Spend up to six hours exploring this lush volcanic caldera, where you may encounter black rhino, lions, zebras, flamingos, and more—all in a single day. After a picnic lunch by a hippo pool, ascend and begin your drive to Arusha (approx. 3.5–4 hours). Depending on your onward travel plans, you’ll be dropped at either your hotel or Kilimanjaro International Airport for your flight home.
