This 2 Days Jinja Family Safari will take you to Uganda’s second largest and busiest commercial town after Kampala, the Capital of Uganda.  Jinja was established in 1907, it is located in the East about 85 km away from Kampala, on the shores of Lake Victoria; its where you will also find the source of the Nile River.

Day 1: Kampala > Jinja| tour Ssezibwa | forest walk at Mabira Forest.

  Enjoy an early morning breakfast, after meet your tour leader for briefing and pick up ready to transfer to Jinja taking the Jinja-Kampala highway, about 85kms. En-route possible stopovers include visit Ssezibwa Waterfalls to explore the cultural importance attached to these scenic falls, take pictures then proceed to Mabira Forest, a beautiful natural forest with variety of primates, birds, tree species. At Mabira Forest, have the best of guided nature/forest walk for you to keep an eye on different birds, trees and primates etc. After, proceed to Jinja while viewing the extensive tea and sugarcane plantations en-route. Upon arrival, check in to a family-friendly hotel. Begin your adventure with a visit to the Source of the Nile, where you can enjoy a relaxing boat ride to the exact spot where the Nile River begins. Afterward, have lunch at the Jinja Sailing Club, which offers a serene riverside atmosphere and a diverse menu. Spend the afternoon exploring the local market to experience Ugandan culture and find unique souvenirs. In the evening, unwind at your hotel, making use of the gardens and playgrounds. Day 2: White water rafting and return to Kampala or Entebbe.

After, embark on actual thrilling white water rafting adventure taking you through different rapids for long day expedition as you enjoy the Nile River waters.
