The mountain gorillas are sensitive to humans which can lead to easier spread of diseases. This is the very reason why humans are not allowed to stay very close to them. When having a gorilla trekking in the morning, the guides will meet and brief the groups of visitors at the gathering point before they set off. The trekking can be heavy especially during the rainy season which is from the month of March to May and November to December. Introduction of Bwindi impenetrable national park Gorilla trekking is available in 4 different areas namely; Rushaga, Ruhija, Buhoma and Nkuringo. Each of these gorilla trekking sectors has specialised accommodation facilities that are close to the tracking area.
