A 3 days tour to Murchison Falls National Park takes you to North Western Uganda one of the most outstanding savannah parks in Uganda. The safari also integrates a visit to Ziwa Rhino sanctuary, home to the only wild rhinos in Uganda. Safari day by day: A 3 days tour to Murchison Falls National Park
Day 1: Kampala>Murchison Falls National Park via Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary.
Your safari guide will pick you up from the hotel after an early breakfast, brief you about the safari, and embark on your journey to the North West of Uganda. You will have a stopover at Ziwa rhino sanctuary. Upon arrival at the sanctuary, you will head out to the bush in search of the rhinos. The tracking may take about three hours and during this time, you will encounter the rhinos in their natural habitat and also be able to spot various bird species. After the tracking, you will have lunch and then proceed to Murchison Falls National park. On arrival, you will drive to the top of the falls for a brief experience and photography of the striking scenic views at the top of the world’s most powerful waterfall. After this experience, you will drive to the lodge for check-in and overnight.Day 2: Early game drive and afternoon boat cruise.
Arise early in the morning, have breakfast, and head for an early morning game drive in the savannah in search of wildlife. The game drive will be conducted in the Northern sector of the park and you will be able to spot early risers and other animal species such as giraffes, buffaloes, lions, hyenas, elephants, kobs, level’s hartebeests, warthogs, and many more and birds like Black-headed Lapwing, Blue-headed Coucal, Giant kingfisher, Swamp flycatcher, Abyssinian ground hornbill, Red-throated bee-eater, Black-billed barbet, Denham’s bustard, and others. After the game drive, you will return to the lodge for lunch and then head out for thrilling boat cruise on the Victoria Nile. The boat ride grants you exceptional views of the Nile, amidst coming across huge Nile crocodiles, hippos, and several other wildlife and bird species on the shores. After the boat cruise, you will drive back to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay
Day 3: Murchison Falls National Park>Kampala.
After your breakfast, you will check out of the lodge and have a leisure transfer back to Kampala or Entebbe, expecting to arrive later in the afternoon for lunch and an optional drop-off at your hotel or at the airport for your flight back home.
