Brief Itinerary

 Day 1: Arrival in Uganda (Entebbe)

Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Entebbe
Your 6 Days Uganda Safari begins with a warm welcome at Entebbe International Airport. A jewel safari tour guide will transfer you to your hotel for a briefing. Relax, enjoy a lakeside dinner, and prepare for your primate adventure.

Day 2: Entebbe → Kibale Forest National Park
After breakfast, embark on a scenic 5-6 hour drive to Kibale, stopping at the Equator for photos. Enjoy lunch in Fort Portal before arriving at your lodge. Spend the evening unwinding amidst lush forest sounds.

Day 3: Primate Tracking (Chimpanzees) in Kibale

Following early morning breakfast, transfer to Kanyancu are for briefing on the chimpanzee walk. You will be led into the forest sanctuary by knowledgeable rangers who share detailed information on the flora and fauna of Kibale Forest. Interact with mans “closest friends” in their natural habitat, take photos and later return to the lodge. Look out for other primate  species and forest birds.

In the afternoon, you will enjoy a guided walk in Bigodi area and spot unique bird species. This part of the park has amazing flora and fauna.

Day 4 : Kibale Forest  to Bwindi Impenetrable (Via Ishasha)

After early morning coffee, drive to Bwindi via Ishasha sector. Game drive enroute where you are likely to see multitudes of animals including Buffalos, Antelopes, Bush bucks, elephants, Baboons and tree climbing lions. Lunch at the lodge

In the afternoon, you will visit the local community including local hospital, schools and craft/gift shops.  Meals and accommodation at Buhoma Lodge or Similar

Day 5: Bwindi 

The highlight of your 6 Days Uganda Safari! Trek through Bwindi’s misty forests to encounter mountain gorillas. You will be transferred to the park headquarters for briefing and enter one of Africa’s  thickest forests in search for the hairy people. The walk is quite challenging but an interaction with one excited Gorilla family will blow your mind.After lunch, visit Ride 4 a Woman, a project empowering local women through crafts and skills training.

Day 6: Bwindi – Entebbe /Return Flight

After breakfast, drive back to Entebbe (8 hours) with an Equator stop, or take a 1-hour bush flight. Transfer to the airport for your onward flight, concluding an unforgettable primate safari. Depending on your departure time, you may need a day room to freshen up. Get in touch
