4 Days Uganda white water rafting & tubing the Nile

This amazing trip takes you to Jinja, the home of adrenaline rush activities such as bungee jumping, white water rafting and tubing the Nile. Visit the source of the river Nile and enjoy the enroute stop overs at Mabira forest and sezzibwa falls for more adventurous activities.

Detailed itinerary

Day 1: Kampala>Jinja via Sezzibwa falls and Mabira forest. After breakfast, the Jewel Safaris professional driver guide will brief you about the safari. You will then depart to the Eastern part of Uganda with a stopover at Sezzibwa falls. At the falls, you will do a brief nature walk with possibilities of seeing birds like Ross’s turracco, Lizard Buzzard, Great Blue turracco and many other species. You will later proceed to Mabira Forest for a nature walk. Mabira is a rainforest where one gets to view and appreciate the lush greenery grounds. If time allows, you will also visit the Griffin falls and participate in zip lining before proceeding to for evening relaxation, dinner and overnight.

Day 2: White water rafting. After your breakfast, you will have your packed lunch ready and then take a short drive to the briefing point in time for your full day white water rafting adventure on River Nile. You will be briefed about the activity before getting a familiarization experience to prepare your mind. The mind blowing experience takes you rowing through the turbulent Nile rapids. This adrenaline raising activity also gives you time to relax, spot birds and watch local fishermen fishing along the river banks. You will later drive back to the hotel for relaxation dinner and overnight.

Day 3: Visit to the source of the Nile, tubing and bungee jumping . On this day, you will participate in relaxing and an adrenaline raising activity. Bungee jumping is an activity that has been re-introduced recently on the Nile. This activity involves you jumping from a launching pad of great height while connected to a large elastic cord, diving down and touching the river Nile. You will then proceed and take a boat ride to the source of the longest river in the world ‘River Nile’. Depending on the water levels, you may also take on water tubing. Flat water tubing can take about 2-3 hours. This is a relaxing water floating activity done while sunbathing, enjoying the bird life and beautiful sceneries. You will later drive back to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 4: Jinja>Kampala. After breakfast, you will check out of the hotel and depart for Kampala. Optional drop off at your hotel or at the airport for your flight.
