4 Days Murchison Falls Family Safari
The 4 days safari takes you to visit Murchison Falls National Park, the largest protected area in Uganda with the world’s most powerful waterfall. Enjoy a game drive in the savannah grasslands and a boat cruise on the Victoria Nile to the bottom of the falls.
Day 1: Transfer to Murchison Falls National Park
Today you will meet with the Jewel Safaris professional driver guide from an agreed pick-up point. Have a brief about the safari and you will have a leisure transfer to Murchison Falls National Park with stopovers at places of interest. You will have an en-route lunch stop before proceeding to the park. On entering the park, you will drive to the top of the falls for a magnificent view of the thunderous Murchison falls. Make sure to capture all the moments and scenic views while here. Later drive to the lodge for check-in and relaxation as you prepare for the next day’s activities.Day 2: Morning game drive and afternoon boat cruise.
Have breakfast and head out for a rewarding game drive in the savannah in search of wildlife such as Nubian giraffes, Lake Chad buffalos, lions, spotted hyenas, Savannah elephants, Uganda kobs, Lelwel’s hartebeest, Common warthogs, Oribis, Bohor’s Reedbuck and many bird species. The game drive is conducted in the Northern sector of the park. After the game drive, you will have lunch at the lodge then prepare for a thrilling boat cruise on the Nile. The 3-hour launch cruise will grant you an opportunity to have an eccentric view of the Nile, amidst the encounter of the huge Nile crocodiles, hippos, and several other wildlife and waders like African skimmers on the lake shores. You will later return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.
Day 3: Relaxation at the lodge
Today after breakfast, you will have a relaxed day at the lodge. Take a nature walk and make use of the available facilities at the lodge like the swimming pool.Day 4: Transfer from Murchison Falls to Kampala
Early breakfast, check out of the lodge, and have a leisure transfer to Kampala arriving later in the afternoon.
