4 Days Kidepo Valley National Park Safari is a wildlife safari to Kidepo National Park Uganda. Kidepo Valley National Park occupies an area of 1,442 square kilometers. The park ranks among Africa’s finest wilderness and it hosts several animal, bird, and plant species, and is inhabited by the Karamojong pastoral communities.

Detailed Itinerary: 4 Days Kidepo Wildlife Safari
Day 1: Drive to Kidepo Valley National Park
We shall have a morning breakfast then transfer to Kidepo with early lunch in Gulu then later transfer to Kidepo Valley National Park via Kitgum and if time allows, we can do an evening drive in searches of animals like Rock Hyrax, Savannah baboons, Cape buffaloes, elephants, and common elands.
Overnight at: Apoka Safari Lodge, Katurum Lodge, Savannah Lodge, UWA Bandas
Meal plan: Dinner
Day 2: Game drive
After breakfast, we head out for a drive in search of more game life like the cheetahs, leopards, rock lions, maneless zebras, Caracal, Bat-eared fox. Then return to the hotel for lunch and later do another evening game drive in search of more species like common ostriches, Kori Bustard and if time allows depending on the rainy season, we can visit the Narus valley to try our luck on the dwarf crocodiles. Later, I returned to the hotel.

Day 3: Cultural visit to the Manyattas
After breakfast, we visited the Manyattas for a cultural experience. While there, we can opt for activities like milking the cows, blood suckling from the cows, simple hunting, thatching the house, and the Mori traditional dance. We can also purchase locally made handicrafts. Then later transfer to Aruu falls and after the falls experience, we take a short drive to Gulu for an overnight.

Day 4: Ziwa Rhino tracking then transfer to Kampala
After our breakfast in the morning, we drove to Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary making several stopovers along the way like Karuma falls and visiting other local villages. We can choose to have local lunch with the village people as an associate way of bonding, then later do rhino tracking before driving back to Entebbe.
