Day 1: Kampala to Volcanoes National Park
Begin your 3 Days Rwanda Gorilla Safari with a pickup from Kigali. The 2.5-hour scenic drive to Volcanoes National Park, home to mountain gorillas offers stunning views. Enjoy lunch en route before checking into your lodge. Relax and prepare for tomorrow’s gorilla trekking adventure.

Day 2: Gorilla trekking in the Morning at Iby’iwacu cultural village
Early in the morning on the second day of your 3 Days Rwanda Gorilla Safari, you will have breakfast and assemble at the park headquarters for briefing, and be assigned the gorilla family to track from. Later head to the jungle in the company of the range guide who be taking you to the exact spot where to see the gorillas from. Upon meeting the gorillas, you will be filled with the thrill, take as many photos as you interact with them. Spend a maximum of 1 hour with them and later descend and head back to your park headquarters, meet your guide and drive your lodge for lunch and relaxation.
Post trek and lunch, visit Iby’iwacu Cultural Village to experience authentic Rwandan culture, including traditional dances and crafts. You have the opportunity to practically use some tools, carry out activities such as the preparation of local meals/ cuisines, and many more. Return to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 3: Return to Kigali with an option of a Kigali city tour
On your final day of your 3 Days Rwanda Gorilla Trekking Tour, enjoy breakfast before returning to Kigali. Opt for a Kigali city tour visiting the Genocide Memorial and local markets for souvenirs – perfect ending to your short Rwanda gorilla safari.
