3-Day Uganda Gorilla Trekking and Batwa Trail On this 3 day experience you will track the gorillas in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park where you’re assured of seeing these gentle giants. You will also visit the different communities of the Batwa people to engage and spend time with them learning more about their way of life and means of survival. 3-Day Uganda Gorilla Trekking and Batwa Trail Day 1 Pickup from Entebbe and Transfer to Bwindi After an early breakfast be picked up from your hotel in Entebbe or from the airport by our company representative who will be your driver guide who will brief you about your trip and set off for your drive to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park in the south western part of the country. You will have a stopover at the Equator where you will have an opportunity to stand in 2 hemispheres at the same time and take some photos. You will make another stopover for lunch in-route before continuing with your journey to Bwindi arriving in the evening check into your lodge for dinner and overnight. You will trek through thick creepers and undergrowth with your guides to find the Gorillas, which can take you 1-8 hours. The steeply forested landscape is incredibly dense but crisscrossed by numerous animal trails allowing access by tourists. You will have one hour to stay with the Gorillas once sited and later return to the lodge for lunch and relax and later in the evening go for a Batwa cultural walk experience before you return to your lodge for dinner and overnight. Main Destination: Bwindi Impenetrable National Park (Gorillas) Accommodation: Four Gorillas Lodge Budget guest house located just outside Bwindi NP Day 3 Transfer back to Entebbe Wake up early in the morning, have your breakfast and checkout of your lodge to transfer back to Kampala with lunch in-route. Then proceed to Entebbe Airport where you will catch your flight back home or be dropped off at your hotel depending on your program.
