This combined wildlife and beach holiday package takes on a tour across Kenya and Tanzania for a wildlife safari experience and the beautiful Zanzibar Island for a beach holiday. 

On your wildlife safari experience in Kenya, you will visit and explore Masai Mara National Reserve the greatest wildlife reserve in the world and a home to wildlife including lions, leopards, cape buffaloes, rhinos, cheetahs, gazelles and African wild dogs among others. 

In Tanzania, you will visit the Northern Tanzania Safari destinations including Serengeti National Park, Ngorongoro Crater, Lake Manyara National Park which are home to abundant wildlife. 

For a beach holiday, you will visit the beautiful island of Zanzibar.

Details of 10 Days Kenya and Tanzania Wildlife Safari and Beach Holiday

Day 1: Pick up and transfer to Masai Mara National Reserve 

On arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, you will be picked up by our guide. He will give you a short briefing about the safari and drive to Masai Mara National Reserve, along the way you will have a stopover at the Rift Valley view point for views of the spectacular escarpments. 

Arrive in the reserve in time for lunch you will have at the lodge after check-in, in the afternoon you will head to the reserve for a game drive exploring the endless plains and enjoying sights of various animals including buffaloes, antelopes, rhinos, gazelles, zebras, wildebeests among others. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 2: Full Day Game Drive 

Have early breakfast and head to the reserve for a full day game drive in Masai Mara awith your packed lunch box, the full day game drive offers you a chance to explore various areas of the reserve dominated by savannah grassland. 

During the game drives, you will enjoy the beautiful scenery and sight of various animals such as giraffes, hippos, antelopes, cheetahs, lions, leopards, cape buffaloes, rhinos among others. You will have lunch at one of the picnic sites in the reserve, continue exploring the endless savannah plains till evening. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay at the lodge as above.

Day 3: Drive to Serengeti National Park 

After breakfast at the lodge, you will checkout of the lodge and embark on a journey to Serengeti National Park via border crossing at Isebania border. Along the way, you will have lunch and when you arrive in the park. You will en-route game drive as you head to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 4: Full day in Serengeti National Park

Have early breakfast and head to Serengeti for a full day of exploring the savannah plains dotted with acacia trees, you will go with your lunch boxes for picnic lunch at one of the picnic sites in the park. 

Serengeti National Park is one of the great wildlife destinations in Tanzania as well as the world known for hosting a high concentration of wildlife including the Big Five and the Great Wildebeest Migration. During the full day game drive, you will see various wildlife including antelopes, zebras, cheetahs, leopards, gazelles, giraffes and wildebeests among others. 

In the evening, you will return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay as above. 

Day 5: drive to Ngorongoro crater and full day game drive 

Have early breakfast and head to Ngorongoro Conservation Area for a full day game drive in the crater floor, you will descend about 600 meters to the crater floor with your packed lunch boxes.

During the game drive, you will enjoy sights of various wildlife including large prides of lions, leopards, cheetahs, hyenas, cape buffaloes, wildebeests, elands, antelopes among others. 

In the afternoon, you will pay a visit to the Ol Duvai Gorge for an archaeological tour where you will see some of the discoveries about the evolution of mankind, after the experience you will return to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 6: transfer to Lake Manyara National Park 

Have breakfast and embark on a drive to Lake Manyara National Park – a home to the rare tree climbing lions and Lake Manyara a home to vast concentration of flamingoes and other birds including cormorants. 

With en-route game drive, you will head to the lodge for lunch. In the afternoon, you will have a game drive on which you will see various wildlife species including antelopes, kudus, waterbucks, baboons and the tree climbing lions and many birds. In the evening, you will return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 7: Transfer back to Arusha and fly to Zanzibar 

After breakfast, you will embark on a drive back to Arusha for your flight to Zanzibar Island. Upon arrival at the airport, you will be picked up your guide and head to your hotel in Stone Town, spend the rest of the hotel, have dinner and stay overnight.

Day 8 – 9: Zanzibar Holiday 

On these two days, you will have a Stone Town Tour exploring the alleyways and enjoying cultural and historical sites.   Have a boat ride on the Indian Ocean in a traditional dhow, snorkeling in the clear waters and relaxing at your hotel.

Day 10: Departure

Have breakfast, transfer to the airport for your onward flight back home marking the end of your safari.
