The park has glaciers, snowfields, waterfalls and has been portrayed as one of the mainly attractive Alpine areas around the world.

The journey by road lasts for couple of hours roughly about 5-56 hours traveling privately in your own car though a 4WD vehicle is advisable since western Uganda is mountainous.
